This September, for the 9th straight year, the people of Richmond gathered for a celebration of Italian culture.  The celebration was filled with food, music, art, and various other cultural exhibits.  Roll Off Dumspter Direct was able to help out the weekend-long festival with waste disposal by providing a dumpster delivery.

Festival-goers listened to all kinds of live music, from traditional Italian music to Jazz and Rock and Roll, in addition to participating in fun events like the meatball eating contest.

Beyond just the food and music, there were a variety of cultural education exhibits for children and adults alike.  For example, did you know that in Italy, La Befana is said to bring gifts to well-behaved children on January 6th, the eve of the feast of the Three Kings?  A doll of La Befana along with an Italian “ceppo” were on display in one of the many Italian culture exhibits dedicated to the Italian Christmas.

All in all, the festival was a success, and Roll Off Dumpster Direct was glad to be a part of it.
