Hurricane Sandy took the East Coast over six months ago, but the recovery process is in no way over. Many coastal communities are still restoring homes and businesses, and boardwalks are beginning to reopen for the summer season.

Roll Off took a trip to Good Luck Point Marina in Bayville, NJ to help with the disposal of a boat destroyed in Hurricane Sandy. Many homes and boats in the area have not been revived, as homeowners are struggling to come back from the Super Storm.

Still, progress is being made. Part of the Seaside Heights Boardwalk recently opened and FEMA just announced that it is sending $2.1 million to the Sandy-ravaged Point Beach town in New Jersey. The entire Point Beach boardwalk is expected to open by Memorial Day weekend.
